In his third film, KMF demonstrates a masterful directorial vision, weaving a prophetic narrative that interrogates both historical colonialism and neo-colonialism through the rise of neo-nazism. The film explores the agnostic and chaotic roots of such ideologies, while also revealing the complex position of Latin America—whose geopolitical existence is entangled with the very forces that sustain neo-Nazism: the influence of the far-right in the United States. At the same time, it gestures toward the possibility of rejecting a US-centred framework for understanding identity and the processes through which identity is formed by showing a community, different yet united.
