The Sun Rises on Us All is the kind of film that have an unexpected ending then everything that leads to it is built upon that. It is a very Chinese moral fable that is essentially unexplainable because the question between the two is quite simple: are we even. And due to the nature of how interpersonal relationship works in an unspoken way, no matter how weird that ending feels like, it makes sense in certain way.
